52 Week Saving Challenge

Try the 52 Week Saving Challenge and put yourself in a position to be able to afford that holiday you want, pay off that debt or simply take away the panic that Christmas brings.

The thought of saving any sort of significant amount of money can be a daunting one.

But if you start off slow and aim big towards the end of the year saving just a little a week in the first instance can give you the platform to do great things by the end of the year.

Introducing the 52 Week Saving Challenge

It’s a simple as this… You start by saving a £1 in the first week, £2 in the second week, then £3 in the third week and so on, until you are at the end of the year saving £52 in the last week of the year.

If you managed to stick to the 52 Week Saving Challenge for a full 12 months you would have a cool £1,378!

Obviously with Christmas around the corner for many of us saving such large amounts on the run up to the big day may not be possible.

If this is the case for you I have also reversed the amounts so you start saving the big amounts and work the 52 Week Saving Challenge backwards.

I have made a free printable on Google Docs to save you the bother.  If you’re unable to access it and would like a copy emailing just give me a shout and I can send as an Microsoft Excel document for you no problems.

I know this post is going out with the year already in full swing but it works regardless over a 12 month period. Let me know how you get on with your 52 Week Saving Challenge!
